Among the five learning centres that we call" Five Living Books"- the shop is one of the important place for our girls. Bikalpa program aims to provide the girls with the tools for right livelihood and sustainable living. The shop plays a vital role here. Besides only learning to make certain items is not fruitful for them. The girls need to learn to do some buying and selling. They sell the materials that they made themselves. Mufflers, caps, bags, purse, mattresses etc are kept in the shop. Everyday two girls take care of the shop. They learn on the spot buying and selling with the customers. This way it will be easy for them back in their village if they want to set up any shop.
